IMOGEN'S FIRST DAY AT PRESCHOOL!

Miss Imogen Lily started preschool with her big brother on the 4th of November (the day after she turned two).
A little earlier than we... (well, Mummy), anticipated, however the preschool had a vacancy so it seemed best to take the opportunity. She has the same fabulous teacher Oliver started with, which is wonderful.

Needless to say Immy LOVES her preschool day each week and looks forward to the next one with great excitement!

THE KID'S BIRTHDAYS...

Oliver has turned four and Imogen two, so here is a collection of pics from their special days in October and November this year.
Oliver was absolutely thrilled with his farmyard Lego set from Nanna and Papa, and his scooter from Granma and Grandad. He enjoyed a special get-together (at his request) at the Buchan's house with Imogen, and his special friends Liam, Eleanor, Lydia and Miriam.

Immy spent her birthday with Oliver, Lydia and Miriam (as Miriam was also celebrating her birthday) with beautiful cupcakes (made by Nanna) and a play, then back home we shared a family dinner and another 'Nanna-made' rainbow cake with Uncle Jamie, Papa, Nanna, Aunty Em, and Oliver.

THE LAST 5 MONTHS...

Yet again time has passed us by and it is August already. I really have to say I cannot remember much of the last little while. We did spend some time in Gerringong and Culburra Beach earlier in the year after Dad and Adrian finished up at Arndell. It was a beautiful way to take a step back and reassess where we are headed.

Adrian has now begun full-time study: a Bachelor of Education (Primary), whilst helping Dad out with some of his work from time to time. He has almost completed his "A-pad"/guest room downstairs which is looking pretty good. I am (so far) still teaching one day a week however this may change due to more staff cut-backs. The kids are great and growing too fast... In about 2-3 months they'll be ages 4 and 2. God is with us day by day and we constantly find our strength in Him.

The Art Of Life

Well, the last few weeks have been up and down for us Harriotts... Adrian has been looking for a new career direction due to a sudden redundancy and Rosie (on the more positive side) has had her art displayed in an Exhibition at dural due to her page on Redbubble (feel free to check out this link:

Besides all this craziness the kids have been enjoying life as normal. Oliver recently spent his hard earned pocket money on his dream purchase: the "Mac" truck from the Disney movie "Cars".
Imogen's teeth have finally been coming through (thick and fast now!) She is still not walking yet... but we are thinking this is a good thing given her thrill seeking nature which leads her to climb all and any objects....! She will be keeping us on our toes that is for sure!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!

Today was Adrian's birthday (27). We celebrated with a yummy thai dinner followed by an extra yummy birthday pudding.... (complete with candles ... for Oliver to blow out!).
Oliver had fun making a card and wrapping the presents. We think Daddy very much liked his Geelong supporter shirt and cap too.

CHRISTMAS DAY 2009

After opening presents (and a quick breakfast), we set off for Port Macquarie to spend Christmas day with Adrian's family.
Oliver was especially excited that we remembered that he wanted "The King" car (from the movie 'Cars') for Christmas!

Our time in Port is always a special one; full of laughter, love and fun. We had a beautiful Christmas dinner out on the front deck which marked the beginning of a wonderful week away.

This year was extra special for Adrian's step-dad Colin as he had all his children around him... Curtis, Paris and Laine with her husband Steve, along with their beautiful 9 month old boy, Jackson.

Adrian even found time (between cricket, chatting, food and drinks) to read a book!

Much fun was had by Oliver in the pool (or near the pool mostly!), as well as building lego with Granma...

The other new addition to the family clan was "Charlie" the dog, who loved to curl up under the dinner table and pull apart Granma Fay's pot plants....
