Oh For A Cat Nap!

Hello everyone!!!
Life has been very busy lately. We've been trying to fix up the house a bit. We did get alot of it painted in January which was great but as soon as I was back to work I found I had little time for anything else! We only have 2 weeks left of the school term and then holidays. Well AJ still has to work but at least I can enjoy a short break.

Our dear friends Lucy and Mike had their lovely little baby boy the other week named Thomas Henry John.
He is beautiful and a complete blessing to his parents. It's great to see them so happy.

It seems alot has happened this year already! AJ finally got his ipod that he was supposed to get for his birthday in January and he is of course very excited (which means people need to find alternative ways to get his attention)! His birthday ended up being a quiet morning tea at our favourite orchard at Grose Vale.

It was a rainy morning but it cleared up in time for his cricket match which was just what he wanted. Speaking of cricket - now over for the year! yay!- AJ's team won their grand finals last weekend. Alot of excitement all round.

In the last few months, Mum and Dad's long lost friend Peter turned up from London and stayed for a while. We were all able to spend a lovely day in the Megalong Valley with Peter and his friends Terry and Daniel.

Terry is a pilates instructor and Daniel is a very excited Frenchman who kisses just about anyone and everyone randomly!!

It was definately a day to remember with a beautiful European feast including lovely cheeses and wine! yum. We went for a bushwalk (somehow - after our huge meal!) and played boule.

Everything else at home is pretty normal. Our cats are living it up sleeping, eating, playing, eating and sleeping. Sometimes I wish I was a cat. How simple would life be?
