CRAZY TIMES......


Well you think we would have enough to think about adjusting to life with a new baby. Oliver has been wonderful, it's his Mum who has all the problems!! On Friday night at around 11pm, AJ had to take me into emergency as I had severe pains come on quite suddenly (which everyone initially thought was my appendix). It was not fun I can tell you. After numerous tests and all 3 of us spending a worrying night in emergency the doctors decided it was just a low grade infection of some kind. Thankfully we were moved to the maternity ward on the Saturday and the antibiotics soon kicked in. Oliver coped marvelously well with the whole thing. He even had to go onto a bottle for a short while but is now breastfeeding well again. His parents were alot more concerned about it all than he was.
Anyway, they sent us home today - yay -after 3 nights. We are just very thankful to God it was not more serious. I have a wonderful husband who has taken care of Oliver and I so well - despite his own worry and exhaustion. I am so blessed to have him. My parents have been a wonderful support too. I have very blessed throughout this trying experience.
