October 2009

Time has just flown on by as usual and our little Miss Imogen Lily has grown from this...
to this...
While Imogen is nearing age one, our little man will be turning three in just a few weeks. Oliver is keeping us on our toes with his inquisitive mind and enegetic little body. He loves his cars and trains as always but has also developed a love of music (singing and drumming in particular!). His Nanna even gave him a harmonica recently which he is really starting to get the hang of.

Imogen just adores her big brother and loves to do anything he is doing. She is also loving the music and particularly loves her Daddy playing the guitar.

She had her first trip to Gerringong in May and loved the beach (although it took a bit of getting used to..)

As for us, AJ has been busy studying his Bachelor of Science (in Traditional Chinese Medicine) which he is enjoying. It has all been a bit of a balancing act with work, uni and home life, but it now all seems to be falling into place.

I will most likely go back to teaching one day a week next year. This year I have been trying to invest what little spare time I have into my creative passions of writing and illustrating for children, which one day may become a career... we'll just have to wait and see where God takes it.

For now though, we have our hands full with our two kids, and so most of our life revolves around them really.... but I don't think we'd have it any other way.
