Here we are on a lazy Saturday Morning, just soaking up the atmosphere of yet another beautiful winter day...Were it isnt all that cold and the sun is beginning to warm everything up. Its nice to have a weekend where we dont have to travel all over the countryside. However the weekend still seems as packed as it always is. Just trying to enjoy the quiet moment of solitude before everything turns crazy again. Last weekend we visited my mum in Port Macquarie again, but this time it was for her 50th birthday, which was so lovely having all of her good friends there. Here is Lisa making a short speech (shortened by tears...) And a lot of fun was had by all. (even Stella, Cilla Boyd's mum) And just incase you havent seen it yet, this is what my parents have done to the old house. Doesnt it look fantastic! They have made it look great just buy adding a few long overdue touch ups...Or a whole new facade.

The weekend before we had a "Christmas in July" celebration with the Buchans (close church friends) with the two children who seem to have a lot of fun when I (Adrian) am around...crazy hats and lots of laughs. The July Christmas thing is becoming more and more popular and of course the retail stores will jump aboard and make it into a whole new time for selling (if they aren't already). But for now we'll enjoy celebrating - its not hard with a good friends and a nice glass of wine in hand...
And finally we are VERY sad that our good friend Kyle had to go home. We miss having you around buddy. Good ol' MAC BOYS!

UPDATE
bout time we had an update... So rosie is nearly 27 weeks (pregnant) and is very healthy. We have a picture of our second ultrasound. see if you can spot our little alien. We've been very busy the since last blog and have a few pictures to post so here goes...
We are coming to the end of the 3 week school holidays over here. Which we spent traipsing all over the countryside. This is when we saw the wonderful Shorten family and spent a little time with them on the way to Port Mac and then again on the way back.
We had a pleasant time at Port Mac (Here we have Colin and I playing the royal game of chess. But dont be fooled by the black pieces off the board, I quite profoundly whipped that smug smile off his face as I took an easy victory...lol)
Rose and I briefly came home before we moved on to Gerringong, one of our most beloved holiday destinations. It rained for the first two days, then on the final day (as we were leaving) the sun came out and our camera battery died. (So we have some film photos we need to have developed). All was good as we proceeded home, stayed one night, then repacked our bags to go on a Chrysalis weekend. This is us dressed up on the Saturday night dinner. Any excuse to dress up, we LOVE it. The weekend went off, and there was an awesome sense of friendship and fellowship.

The night after we came home from Chrysalis we went to stay at the Bryden B&B for 3 nights whilst Adrian and Jamie had a father and son holiday. Which was, surprisingly enough, in Gerringong. And tonight we finally have a quiet night...maybe not...We have a couple of friends staying over. Kyle is visiting from Alaska USA and as always Glenda will share her wonderful sense of humor to make us laugh all night...
